I’ll beyour eyes.
Buying a house is emotional. I do this every day. For you, it might be the first time.

You fall in love.I look at the rest.
It’s easy to fall for a house all on your own. My job is to see what love hides: the flaws, the area, the resale.
If I wouldn’t buy it, I’ll tell you. Then you decide. If it’s the right house, it’s the right house. If it isn’t, no big deal, we’ll find another one.
- The real costs, from our first meeting
- Resale, from the first visit
- The inspection, even when the market pushes you to skip it
How we’lldo this
Five rounds. I’m in your corner for every one.

The question
I ask permission to be straight with you. Then we talk about what matters: budget, real costs, your will.
The search
I tell you what I think of every house, and I always separate my taste from yours.
The offer
We think about the price, and about resale: in five years, in eight, or for your heirs.
The inspection
We keep it. It’s what saved one client $23,000 during the bidding wars.
The notary
I’m there with you. Signing is the easy part. And I don’t disappear after.

Nobody likessurprises
The price of the house isn’t the price of buying. From our first meeting, I’ll tell you what gets added.
- The notary: around $2,000 to $2,200 in my experience. Your notary will confirm the amount.
- The building inspection
- Land transfer duties, the well-known welcome tax
- Your will and protection mandate: they earn me nothing, but we talk about them
I know notaries, inspectors and banks that are good to work with. I’ll put you in touch.
Two and a half years
A couple wanted to move back near family. The financing stalled, then a baby was on the way. I stayed in touch.
Two and a half years later, they bought. Today I look after the mother-in-law’s house, and the family came to the pumpkins.

Buyer questions
I’m nervous. Is that normal?
“You’re not nervous, you’re excited.” It’s a big decision. We go one step at a time, and I explain each one.
What if it isn’t the right time to buy?
I’ll tell you, even if it costs me a sale. You’ll get the truth.
I’m buying. Why talk about resale?
Because you’ll sell it one day, in five years, in eight, or your heirs will. Better to think about it before you sign.
Why bring up a will?
Because buying a house just changed your life. It earns me nothing. But it protects your family.
Do you work in French and English?
Yes. I serve clients in both languages.
Tell me about your project
First home, condo, plex, cottage: tell me where you’re at. I’ll call you back.
